A SHORT HISTORY OF THE BUSINESS:<\/strong><\/p>\n FROM \u2018PAL & PANTHER\u2019 TO \u2018MOTORCYCLE PIT STOP\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n 1929<\/strong> Jim moved next door with his bicycles and lawnmowers and\u00a0 retains the name Pal & Panther Cycles and Lawnmowers. \nThe business was established by Cyril Collins under the name \u2018Pal & Panther Cycles and Motorcycles\u2019, which later incorporated Lawnmowers.
\n1952<\/strong>
\nJim Howe started working at Pal & Panther at the age of 14 years.
\n1968<\/strong>
\nJim became Cyril\u2019s business partner.
\n1980<\/strong>
\nJim\u2019s wife Patricia became a business partner too, with Cyril. Eventually the two bought the business from Cyril when he retired.
\n1982<\/strong>
\nAt the age of 17years Craig joined the family business as an apprentice motorcycle mechanic
\n1983<\/strong>
\nKaren(Craigs girlfriend and later his wife) joined the business as a sales person. Karen still works till this day\u00a0doing all different types of work in the shop.
\n1986<\/strong>
\nCraig finished his apprenticeship and stayed on at the business.
\n1988<\/strong>
\nGrand opening of the expanded new shop on the same location in Angove St.
\n1996<\/strong>
\nCyril Collins sadly passes away \u2013 aged 89
\n2004<\/strong>
\nThe beginning of Motorcycle Pit Stop (this is when Craig and Karen started the business inside Pal & Panther as motorbike sales only.)
\n2005<\/strong>
\nCraig and Karen\u2019s son Jamie joined the business as an apprentice motorcycle mechanic.
\n2006<\/strong>
\nThe passing of a loving mother\/grandmother\/great grandmother Patricia Howe. A sad time for the family.<\/p>\n
\n2009<\/strong>
\nJamie completed his Motorcycle Apprenticeship and is currently still working for the family business.
\n2011
\n<\/strong>Jim sold the Pal & Panther Cycles to another family member, then he joined us at Motorcycle Pit Stop, where\u00a0we keep him\u00a0busy to occupy his days, he does go missing\u00a0occasionally for very long lunch breaks,\u00a0where we will catch\u00a0him talking to a lot of North Perth locals who have been around just as long as Jim.

\n<\/strong>Pal & Panther Cycles\u00a0was sold out of the family, but due to the economy & internet sales taking over they closed their doors late in 2015\u00a0<\/strong>which was a sad day\u00a0for all.
\n2016
\n<\/strong>Craig, Karen, Jamie & Jim continue\u00a0to work hard at\u00a0\u00a0Motorcycle Pit Stop and are\u00a0always working\u00a0at being 100%<\/span><\/strong> in Customer Service Dedication…<\/strong><\/p>\n
